HOOVER 3530D — 3.5kg Vented Dryer

The Hoover 3530D uses a mechanical timer dial on the control panel for manual selection of drying duration. It controls both the heat circuit and drum motor — simple and straightforward to use.

⚙️ How to Use

1. Turn the Timer Knob — Rotate clockwise to your desired drying time (up to 150 minutes)
2. The dryer starts automatically — both heat and drum rotation are controlled by the timer
3. Dryer stops automatically when the timer reaches zero

📝 Good to Know

• Large loads may need the timer reset for a second cycle
• Manual only — no automatic sensor drying
• If the dryer runs continuously, the timer may not be advancing — please let us know

📋 Step-by-Step Instructions

Load the Drum

Fill 2/3 to 3/4 full — don’t pack clothes too tightly

Add Detergent

Main wash compartment → detergent Dedicated slot → fabric softener Pre-wash slot → if needed

Select Cycle

Turn on power, choose your cycle (Normal, Heavy Duty, Delicate, etc.)

Press Start / Pause

Press the Start/Pause button to begin your cycle

📱 LG ThinQ App — Remote Start

Start your wash from your phone! Hold the Remote Start button on the machine for 3 seconds to enable, then control via the LG ThinQ app.

💡 Tips

• Use cold water cycles for most everyday loads — saves energy
• Leave the door slightly open after use to prevent odours
• Clean the door seal regularly to prevent mould

🔵 Important — Gas Lighter Location

Use the Blue Gas Lighter (Kitchen/BBQ Refillable) to light the burners. It is kept in the first drawer on the right side of the stove.

🔥 How to Light the Stove

Get the lighter

Retrieve the blue gas lighter from the first drawer (right side of stove)

Turn the knob

Turn the burner knob to your desired flame level

Light the burner

Hold the lighter near the burner and press the ignition button

Adjust flame

Turn the knob to adjust flame size as needed

⚠️ Safety Reminders

• Always turn off all burners after cooking
• Never leave cooking unattended
• Ensure good ventilation when using the gas stove
• Return the lighter to the first drawer after use

• 💧 SteamAdd Adds steam during cooking — great for bread and moist dishes
• 🌪️ Airfry Crispy results with little or no oil — perfect for chips, nuggets, vegetables
• 🔥 Grill Top heat element — ideal for browning and grilling

💡 Tips

• Preheat the oven for 10–15 mins before cooking
• Use Aeroperfect for most everyday cooking
• Use Airfry mode for crispy results without deep frying
• Always turn the oven off after use — both knobs to zero
